The County Agricultural Incentives Program (CAIP) offers 11 incentive areas that provide Kentucky agricultural producers cost-share assistance on practices that increase net farm income and opportunities to try new/innovative technologies or systems that improve farm efficiency and productivity. The Kentucky Office of Agricultural Programs administers this program.

The application period closed on December 10, 2025 for the 2025 program year. Status letters were mailed at the end of January. 1099s have been mailed for those who received funding during calendar year 2025. If you applied and haven’t satisfied the education requirement, it is recommended to take an education class during the winter. Classes will be limited during the spring/summer months.
