Culinary Club
About
The culinary club welcomes all 4-H age students! Our club is for beginner chefs to learn basic kitchen skills through fun recipes and activities. For extra fun, each month is themed around a country/culture.
Due to space and safety restrictions, each class is capped at 12 students ( 2 classes per month).
Please call the extension office or email our club leader Sarah Thornberry to RSVP.
Each month the sign-up for class is opened to everyone and does not require that students have participated in past classes.
Meeting Dates
In September, each culinary club member will get their passport stamp from Mexico. We will take a virtual field trip to Mexico City to explore local artists, architecture, schools, and more. After our virtual field trip we will be in the kitchen making Elote (mexican street corn). Lastly, in the class students will learn a few phrases in Spanish.
